To ensure career planning success Career Planning experts recommend using a one-on-one setting with a trusted career coach, selecting from a career services menu customized to your individual need. The Career Coaching Centre offers complete career and educational planning to students and professionals of all ages. Our career coaches and educators are educators and business professionals from the community, who offer their experience, resources and knowledge to you.
What will happen at the Career Coaching Centre.
The following diagram is the typical process that you will follow when at the Career Coaching Centre. Please keep in mind that it may change or vary slightly, with respect to time and services needed, depending on your individual needs.
Not mentioned in the actual process, but will be included in it, are three (3) KEY componenets that we at the Career Coaching Centre will strive for with you from the onset of the program. They are:
- Encourage you to establish short and long term developmental and career goals.
- Help you conceptualize a plan for attaining these goals
- An agreement between you and the Career Coach about your role and responsibilities in achieving your developmental plans.
